Roberts, Odefey, Witte & Wall, LLP is proud to welcome Jordan G. Fries to the firm!

A Victoria native, Jordan graduated with honors from the University of Iowa in 2013 before earning his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2016. While in law school, he gained valuable experience through internships with the Cook County and Federal Public Defender’s offices, as well as in private family law practice, and contributed as both writer and editor for Loyola’s Public Interest Law Reporter.

Since returning to Victoria, Fries has practiced extensively in both criminal and civil law. He began in private criminal defense before joining the Victoria County District Attorney’s Office, where he served as a felony prosecutor and later as First Assistant Criminal District Attorney from 2023 to 2025. His experience also includes civil litigation, probate, contracts, and business law through his time with a private law firm. Known for his strong trial advocacy, Fries has handled cases across a wide range of legal matters.

With Jordan’s arrival, Port Lavaca Law is proud to expand its services to include criminal defense, while also strengthening our established civil and family law practice. Known for his dedication inside and outside the courtroom, Jordan is committed to advocating for his clients with skill, passion, and integrity.
