Jordan received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago in 2016. During the course of his studies, Jordan interned with the Cook County Public Defender and the Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of Illinois, for then-Dean David Yellen, and for a private family law practice in Chicago. Since returning to his hometown in 2016, Jordan has primarily worked as a criminal trial lawyer and practiced as both a defense attorney and a prosecutor. Jordan maintained a successful private criminal defense practice from 2016-2018 and was employed as a felony prosecutor under Victoria County Criminal District Attorney Constance Filley Johnson from 2019-2022 and 2023-2025. From 2023-2025, Jordan served as the First Assistant Criminal District Attorney for Victoria County. He has extensive experience practicing all areas of criminal law, especially advocating in the courtroom at jury trial. Jordan is an active member of the State Bar of Texas and presently serves as an officer on the Victoria County Bar Association Board. He also coaches youth basketball and teaches mock trial to junior high and high school-aged students when available.

Jordan is licensed to practice law in the State Courts of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
